Look to the Paleolithic Era for the Easiest Way to Lose Weight
If you are like me, you probably like to research extensively on subjects you are interested in on the internet. However, when you start taking a look at topics such as weight loss, you get inundated with the amount of information out there. Most of the topics out there tend to cover issues such as lowering the calorie intake and different ways that one can use willpower to lose weight.
In my experience, the best and easiest way to lose weight is in the area of Paleolithic diets. These are diets that are focused on what people ate before the agricultural era, where people were primarily hunter gatherers. Today, so much of what people eat is processed and corn based, and I believe that is one of the root causes for obesity today.
There is an erroneous preconception that Americans are overweight compared to the rest of the world because Americans are lazy, unwilling to exercise and eat too much. Yet we run into people all the time who are extremely obese and yet don’t eat very much. The reason for this is that these people are not eating too much, they are eating too much of the wrong things.
Americans do eat too much processed foods and too many high carbohydrate density foods. It is not surprising that the easiest diet to lose weight fast is often found among the diabetic diets that specifically avoid high carbohydrate foods to control blood sugar levels. There should be no question that the easiest way to lose weight fast is to eat more low glycemic index foods and less processed foods rather than eat less food overall.
I know there is a temptation to use extreme diets to lose weight quickly. I will emphasize that this is definitely not the safe and effective way to proceed. If you follow the meal plan of the Paleolithic diets, with no reduction to your overall intake of food, you will be amazed at how quickly the positive results will happen. You will find that this is the easiest way to lose weight in a week. Remember, take your focus away from how much you eat and focus instead on what you eat. You’ll love the results!
